JORGE PONCE BETTI

A purebred storyteller. His mother was a poet and his grandfather a famous Argentine theatre writer. So storytelling was all around his childhood.
He began working in agencies as a copywriter, where scripts became his passion. Across roles at Grey, Del Campo, McCann, BBDO, David Brazil, and Lew Lara/TBWA Brazil, his work earned recognition at Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, London Festival, El Sol, and El Ojo de Iberoamérica.
After becoming an ECD, he shifted his focus to directing and storytelling. His first project at Landia was selected as a Best of the Week at Creativity Online, followed by a Cannes Lion for his second. Since 2016, he has directed projects across Latin America and is represented in the US and Europe. His short film Inmatures won Best Screenplay and Best Director at Short+Sweet Hollywood, among other international festivals.
As a director, he brings his copywriting background to strengthen scripts throughout the production process. As a creative, his experience in production allows him to write ideas that are both strong and feasible. He enjoys working with humor, acting, documentary, and post-production while exploring new ways to tell compelling stories.
